As the name suggests, the Mermaid bakewell pan is ideal for making traditional bakewell tarts, but the sloped walls also make it ideal for any other sorts of sweet or savoury tarts and shallow dishes that you would want to serve straight from the pan.
Mermaid bakeware, manufactured in the UK, is a name synonymous with quality baking trays and other quality baking pans. An aluminium core running through the sides as well as the base of each item of bakeware provides fantastic heat conductivity, and the extremely durable hard anodised surface is twice as hard as stainless steel. This incredibly tough exterior means that Mermaid products are scratch resistant, and will not warp, twist or buckle.
